I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in a great location. The check-in process was easy with easy access through the lockbox. The cottage itself was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was really comfy and we slept well throughout the night. The village was quiet and peaceful, despite having a couple of pubs nearby. The nearby Manor Inn pub served delicious food and the post office/shop across the street was convenient for any essentials. I had a fantastic time exploring the local area and would highly recommend this cottage.

Easy check-in with lockbox. Spotless cottage with everything you need. Clean and spacious bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen with ample supplies. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Quiet village location with nearby pub and convenient shop. Enjoyable stay, would come back.

The nearest airport is conveniently located at Newcastle International Airport, which is great for quick getaways. The property has a washing machine, so I didn't have to worry about dirty towels. Whinlatter Forest Park is just 41 km away for some adventure!
Oh, the creaky bed made for a truly delightful night's sleep.

The bathroom was a pleasant surprise, fitted with a refreshing shower. It felt so invigorating after a long day of exploring St Bees. As a low-budget traveler, it met all my basic needs without any frills.
For my taste, one bathroom was not enough for all the guests. But others might not mind.

Despite being in a lively area, the village was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. the nearby pub served delicious food, and the local shop was convenient for any essentials we needed.
The bed was creaky and unstable, making it difficult to sleep properly. There were also some noise disturbances, including early morning delivery vans and late-night drunk people on a few occasions.
